Making No Sense

*****

I'm so tired I can barely see straight. I had such a great
day, though. From start to finish, I had a wonderful day!
When I woke up this morning I just knew Keenan's stuff was
coming. Generally UPS comes between 2pm and 5pm, so that's
what I'd planned on being home for. I needed to go to
Target to get a few things. It seems like every few days I
think of something I need for the baby. Today it was
mittens (to prevent scratches) and plain white socks. I
came out of Target having spent over $200, but that's
because I bought stuff for the nursery. Yet another
project I'm taking on because I have to have something to
do.

Kiki and I got home from Target a little before noon. UPS
pulled up at 12:14pm. Everything arrived and now I'm
feeling very much at ease. I spent all of my evening
assembling things, but it's done now and I'm happy about
it. The car seat was easy. I just latched it into the car
and it fits perfectly. It's easy to get it over Kiki's
booster and it locks in place securely. I couldn't be any
happier.

The bassinet is a little bigger than I thought it was
going to be, but it still fits in the corner of my
bedroom. It's so cute. It's got the classic Pooh print on
it and it's so adorable. I got the matching swing and it's
sitting in the middle of the living room. At first I
wasn't crazy about having a swing in the middle of my
living room, but it's starting to grow on me. I know soon
there will be a baby in it and that will make it all worth
it.

I started the nursery today, but I didn't get to finish,
because Kiki needed to go to bed. I did manage to get all
of her clothes sorted and rehung. I got rid of anything
that wasn't a 4T or higher in size. Even that is pushing
it. She's almost outgrown her 4T's. Over half the closet
is empty now, which is more than Keenan needs, but I like
it that way. Tomorrow I get to do the fun part. Putting
Keenan's clothes away and organizing the changing table
and all that good stuff.

I stopped in Michael's today and bought yarn. I've
crocheted a blanket for each of my babies, so I need to
get on that for Keenan. I'm starting late. All I really
need is a week, though. After tomorrow I should have time
on my hands to crochet.

Helena called me today while I was in Target. I sent her
an e-mail letting her know that Snookums isn't coming
home, so of course she's coming to my rescue to help me
with the girls. I'm not going to complain about it too
much. I don't really have anyone else to count on at the
moment. She's flying out on the 29th (which is next
Thursday. I can't believe time is passing this quickly).
I'm not sure how long she's staying. I just have to hold
out for a little while longer! I don't see any reason why
I wouldn't be able to hold out until then. I'm not due
until the 2nd (or 5th, depending on which due date you
want to go by).

I'm so tired. I can barely keep my eyes open. I'm sure
this entry is making no sense. I just have to go to bed
now. Ciao.
