My Life Thus Far

Zen

I'm feeling very zen right now. For the first time in
almost 9 months, my house finally feels like my HOME.
Since we moved in and morning sickness hit me almost
instantaneously, then the fatigue, then the pain of a
pelvic condition, then the cumbersomeness of the third
trimester (and did I mention more fatigue?). I've never
made my house my home. FINALLY I've done that. There are
no boxes yet to be unpacked. No pictures yet to be hung.
No rooms in need of decorating. Everything is just as I
want it and now I can be at peace with the way things are,
instead of just living amongst them.

I don't have to put the stroller together tonight, but I
have nothing better to be doing, so why not? It shouldn't
take too long I'm hoping. It's in an awfully small box,
though. For it to be a tandem stroller. I put new votives
in my Buddha statues, lite some incense and candles. So,
the living room is feeling very soothing and smells so
fragrant. White pepper incense. One of my favorites. It's
got a sweet yet spicy aroma that I find very peaceful. Not
too heavy. Anyhow, if things get dicey with the stroller,
Buddha should keep me calm so I don't throw it off the
balcony :) How can you look at Buddha and not be calm?

Ciao.

UPDATE: I'm in LOVE with my new stroller! It took all of
30 minutes to assemble (and that was while being engrossed
in a particularly good episode of Law and Order). It's
smooth rolling, nice looking and EXACTLY what I need for a
toddler and an infant. I'm going right to Target.com and
leaving a good review (it already had a good score 4 out
of 5 stars, but I'm adding my two cents). I'm pleased, if
you couldn't tell :)

Now, I'm going to take my candles to the bathroom and I'll
run myself a nice bath. That's going to be so very
lovely...Ciao for the night.
