My Life Thus Far

There's Always Tomorrow...Or Next Week

****

You know your life is slow and uneventful, when you pass
the time watching clothes wash. Whoever thought to put see-
through doors on front loading washers and dryers is a
GENIUS! After the girls went to bed (and vacated the
playroom), I pulled up the rocking chair and watched the
washer go through a cycle. Sad, huh? It was a load of
towels. The girls' towels, cleaning rags and dish towels,
which are a hodge-podge of old, hand-me-down, non-matching
pastel colors. So, there was some color interest to look
at. The best part was the spin cycle. I can't believe how
fast it goes and how much water it extracts. The clothes
come out nearly bone dry! Even the cats came to join me.
Zeus looked at the spinning machines rather matter-of-
factly like he's see in all before (probably because he
has), Zoe cocked her head to the left and looked like she
was about to attack at any moment. It was a great use of
43 minute of my life.

Sadly, I have nothing else to write about. I didn't get
around to all the things I wanted to do today. My health
isn't permitting it (shortness of breath, cough, over-all
sense of lethargy). I did manage to accomplish those few
loads of laundry. Yay me. The way I see it, I've got no
deadlines and all the time in the world. Who cares if my
desk is clean or if I have 3 Public Storage boxes in my
living room? Just me, I'm sure. So, if I don't feel like
dealing with them right now. So what. There's always
tomorrow...or next week. Whatever.

I think now I'll find something to eat. My stomach is
acting hungry. I guess the left-over slice of Hawaiian
pizza I ate 5 and a half hours ago isn't going to cut it.
