My Life Thus Far
Too Much Drama Is Bad For Your Health
****
Today was a non-eventful day. Sometimes it's good to have
days like that. Too much drama is bad for your health. At
least, that's what I've come to find.
It was nice waking up this morning not having to do
anything or go anywhere. It was especially nice, because I
didn't sleep well last night. I tossed and turned
constantly, which is even harder when you're pregnant,
because turning is very difficult and requires a few
expert maneuvers to get from one side to the other. I was
incredibly frustrated and couldn't wait for morning to
come. I get my best sleep between 6-9am. I'm not sure why.
I struggle all night and then sleep soundly right when I
should be getting up. It makes me mad that just when I
need sleep the most, I can't get it. I gave up by 9am.
We went on a little family outing today. Snookums and I
took the girls to see Horton Hears A Who. It was really
cute. Even Snookums laughed and he usually thinks anything
kid related is stupid (or at least that's what he wants
people to think. I did catch him watching Sponge Bob
Squarepants this morning). Kiki actually did pretty good.
We saw the 1:45 showing and I tried to get her to take a
nap before we went, but she wasn't having it. She usually
takes a nap between 2 and 4pm. I didn't want her having a
meltdown in the middle of the movie and she didn't, but
she kept turning around and waving at the dad and son
behind us. Thankfully, though no meltdown.
Before we left for the movie, I'd put a pork roast in the
crock pot. When we got home, the house was filled with
it's smell. Snookums was going crazy from the smell. It
did smell good, but to me it smelt better than it tasted.
I'm not very fond of meat in general. I like it okay, but
it's not my favorite thing. I did, however make a butter
pecan cake that's pretty good.
Since I didn't sleep so well last night, I'm tired now.
It's almost 8:30pm. I'm going to try very hard to sleep
tonight. I'm so tired of being tired. Ciao.
