A Lot Less Richer

****

I'm tired. Snookums came up with the brilliant idea this
morning to go to the Supermall in Auburn. I figured that
sounded like a harmless enough way to spend the day, so I
went along with it. Now I'm slightly regretting it. I'm
tired, sore and a lot less richer. It was fun while it
lasted and we don't get to do it often (and won't be doing
it again anytime soon), so I suppose it was okay. I don't
feel like there's much I want personally for myself, so I
didn't get much of anything. I found a pair of maternity
capri pants and a top (a grand total of less than $30),
the girls each got a new wardrobe, because Kiki is
starting to complain about being squeezed into her 4T
pants and all of Annie's pants are high waters. She needs
an 8 for the length, but it's always too big around.
There's a store in the Supermall called Justice Just For
Girls that carries an 8 slim that fits her beautifully.
They're 6 years apart in age, but only 15 pounds apart in
weight. It's crazy. We stocked up for Kiki at the Carter's
outlet store. I love Carter's. I was tempted to buy stuff
for the baby, but I don't want a bunch of yellow and
green. So, I'll wait. Snookums bought himself a couple
pairs of shoes and some outfits. He spent more on himself
than me and the girls combined (yes, including my $400
purse), so he's feeling a little guilty right now. As he
should. All successful shopping trips should be followed
by the appropriate buyer's remorse period. If not, it
means you shop too much and don't appreciate what you
have. I used to be like that. Not anymore. Shopping is a
luxury, not a right.

That's all I've really got to say about today. How much
detail can you put into an entry about going to a mall?
Ciao until tomorrow.
