My Life Thus Far
Worth Celebrating
****
I've been on the go from 7am until now ( 7:43pm, to be
precise). Over twelve hours. I'm so tired, I know I'll
sleep well tonight. I did last night. After my bath, I
crawled into bed and was asleep before I knew what hit me.
Lets hope I'm that lucky tonight. Sleep is so hard to come
by for me right now. Each good night's sleep is worth
celebrating.
I got up this morning with the intent of taking Annie to
her early morning class, but I forgot she doesn't have it
on Friday's. I could have slept in as late as I wanted to,
but I wouldn't have gotten nearly as much done as I did,
so it worked out for the best.
At first, I thought I would just have coffee with Gen,
then come home and veg out, but it didn't work out that
way. Gen couldn't do coffee at that moment, so I had to
find ways of using my time. I stopped by Schuck's Auto
Supply and got windshield washer fluid, took Kiki to play
at McDonald's playplace, had the car washed, got my oil
changed (along with some other preventative maintenance),
stopped in Old Navy to try on some maternity pants (I
settled on a pair of wide leg khakis that are a size too
big, but I figured I'd grow into-around the middle at
least), took a little drive so Kiki could nap, put gas in
the car and THEN met Gen for coffee. I'd say my morning
was productive.
After coffee, Gen and I walked around the mall for awhile.
She showed me some of the wedding sets she's interested in
and we looked around Bath and Body Works for a bit. That
was it. By that time it was after 3:30pm and I had to get
home to meet Annie's bus. Snookums got home before me, so
it worked out fine. I didn't want Annie locked out for any
length of time.
Snookie was really pleased with how the car looked. When I
got the oil changed, they washed the windows and vacuumed
the inside for me, which was great, because I wasn't able
to have that done at the car wash. They were short staffed
in the detail department, so I settled for the outside
getting done. So, by the end of the morning, it had all
gotten done and this pleased me because my car is spotless
now.
We decided to take the girls outside for awhile, because
the weather was so nice. We took them to the Silverdale
Waterfront to play, but by the time we got there the sun
had gone behind clouds and the wind had picked up. It was
very cold, neither of the girls wanted to play and quite
frankly, I wasn't enjoying myself, either. My nipples were
so hard, I thought they'd explode if I didn't get back in
the warmth. So, we took them for ice cream instead. Yeah,
I know. Not exactly a warm activity, but if you saw how
the girls were jumping around afterward, you'd see they
were plenty warm by the time we headed home.
I'm so ready for bed now. Ciao until tomorrow.
