Please Stop, Baby

****

The baby is pushing on my insides. Like, it's stretching
and it isn't very comfortable (if it isn't, that makes two
of us). Please stop, baby.

Last night, I had the hardest time going to sleep. I fell
asleep on the couch around 4:30am and Snookums came and
brought me to bed around 5:15am, but that isn't enough
sleep for anyone in my condition. Or most normal people.
4:30am-10am. I had to work, so there was no sleeping all
day for me. Not to mention that isn't possible with a 2
year old in the house, anyhow.

So, I struggled, but managed to start my day in a semi,
halfway, almost decent mood. I was a little late to work
and Tiffany got on me a little about it (which threatened
to ruin my day), but I didn't let her get to me and I got
over that, too. So, my day was okay.

I had a short day at work. 4 hour shifts are nice. Since I
had some time on my hands, I decided to go to Ross and
check out the maternity section (and the rest of the
store). I can't remember the last time I was there.
Surprisingly enough, I didn't see a single person Gen, Ron
and I used to work with. Our generation of Ross associates
are long gone. Hopefully on to bigger and better things. I
didn't see anything in the maternity section I had to
have, but I got a couple 1X tops in Woman's World that
will suffice in the place of maternity tops. They're a
little too big in the shoulders and arms sometimes, but
I'm optimistic they'll do the job. I also won't feel so
bad wearing them for a few weeks after the baby is born.
The moment I have the baby, I no longer want to wear
maternity clothes. Nursing clothes don't count.

Snookums and I have a date to have tea and shortbread
cookies together in the bedroom after we take a shower,
but he's fallen asleep on the couch waiting for me to
finish. He looks so cute :) I've found a new addiction
since we've become penny-pinchers. Free samples and
coupons. I joined a site called. mysavings.com and
everyday there are new free samples and coupons from big
companies. Nestle, Proctor and Gamble, Huggies (and all
the other baby brands), Playtex, you name it. I print out
coupons I can use grocery shopping and try new products.
I'm loving it. There's something so cool about getting
something free. No shipping or anything. I love it.
Anyhow. I did that for about an hour before I decided to
write. Now I need to wake my poor sleepy husband up so he
can take a shower and go to bed, instead of curling his
long self up on the too short couch. Ciao.
