Even Wonder Woman Has A Day Off Once In Awhile

****

I have nothing of interest to write about................I
just did that to take up space. I suppose not having much
to write about is a good thing. That at least means
nothing bad is going on. It also means nothing interesting
is going on, either. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day :)
Even Wonder Woman has a day off once in awhile, right?

All I had on my agenda today was work. 10-6pm. I was
scheduled 10-4pm, but you know how that goes sometimes. I
don't complain when I'm overlooked for lunches and breaks,
or when my time to be off has come and gone. It takes a
lot to keep a store running smoothly and when I look at
the inexperience, inattentiveness and nonchalance of the
girls that are supposed to be relieving me, I know it's
only going to create more work for me when I come back in
the following day. There's always some mess to clean up
from the shift before. I think that's common in any job
(that has shifts).

I picked my Secret Santa person today. I got PJ. She's a
little Filipino girl that's so cute and sweet. She reminds
me of Annie (her size, not her personality). XS barely fit
her sometimes. But, I love her to death. I went to
American Eagle to get her a gift. Her favorite color is
green, so I got her some green earrings and a green top. I
also got her some of her favorite candy. Chocolate covered
gummi bears. Interesting. I hope she likes them.

Tomorrow Gen and family are supposed to be coming over. I
don't know when, though. I'll be taking advantage of the
opportunity to sleep in. Way in. I've been having some
long days lately and my body is starting to feel it. My
back has been aching. My feet are always killing me (even
though I go barefoot at work whenever I'm behind the
cashwrap). I had the same problem with Kiki, too. I didn't
work when I was pregnant with Annie, but I probably would
have then too, if I had. I want to get into prenatal yoga
and/or water aerobics, but I need to get through holiday
and semi-annual first. Helena is pressuring me to quit
after the holidays, but I don't really want to do that. I
know my hours will be drastically cut come mid-January, so
I can hold out until then. I'll take time off right at the
end and after the baby is born. Only a year, though. Just
until I'm done nursing. I suppose I'll cross that bridge
when I get to it.

I think I'll be going now. I want to wrap PJ's gift. Why I
have to do it now, I don't know, but I do. Ciao!
