A Woman Named...

****

I had a pretty good day. I spent most of it on the highway
because of the crazy weather we're having. It's rained
over 9 inches in 24 hours. I know Washington is known for
it's wet weather, but this is ridiculous. When I went to
drop Kiki off this morning the road next to her daycare
was flooded with about 3 feet of water, so I had to take
the high road. It only added about 5 extra minutes to my
commute.

I still managed to get to work on time even with the
torrential rainfall. By 1pm, the governor of Washington
state declared Kitsap (and several other counties) in a
state of emergency, so all the schools closed. Tamara let
me leave early to get Annie. But, that didn't happen very
quickly. Parts of the highway were flooded and traffic was
backed up for hours. It took me 2 hours to get from the
mall to Annie's school. A trip that normally only takes
about 10 minutes. I'm so glad we don't live in Port
Orchard anymore. The highway was flooded through Gorst and
there was no way in to or out of South Kitsap. It was
crazy I wonder how it will be tomorrow.

I made an interesting discovery a few minutes ago.
Literally, just a few minutes ago. While I was making
dinner, Jason was on the computer. When dinner was ready,
he made a fatal mistake. He minimized the screen instead
of closing out of it. So, after dinner while he was doing
the dishes, I clicked on it to see who he was chatting
with. A woman named Michelle Skyes. Yahoo's IM is
connected to the e-mail, so I made a few clicks and came
upon many many e-mails. Some of them quite suggestive.
Expressing love and need for one another. Even pictures of
her. Although I'm fairly sure she hasn't seen any of him.
She doesn't live around here, so I know he hasn't done
anything with her. But, surprisingly enough I'm not upset
about it. At least not at the moment. Maybe that's subject
to change.

I'm gonna go now. I need to see if I can peruse some of
the e-mails a little more. It's not going to be easy with
him sitting right here. Ciao for now.
