My Life Thus Far
We're The Doodlebops
****
I was in a funk all day yesterday. For some reason I just
wasn't feeling well at all. Nausea kept sneaking up on me
and no matter what I did, it just kept following me! I
think it might have been because I wasn't eating enough.
When I eat several small (healthy) meals a day I feel much
better than when I don't eat or if I get too full. I'm not
hungry right now, but I know I need to eat something soon.
I got on the scale yesterday morning (just to keep track
of my weight. I want to stay healthy) and I've lost 7
pounds. No one can tell because I'm so bloated. Puffy
face, hands and legs. A big belly (that looks pregnant
even though I'm not that far along). I don't know why I'm
still losing instead of gaining. Other than cutting out
junk food and fast food, I though I was eating enough. I
guess not.
When I got home last night, I made dinner. Beef tips over
rice with french style green beans. Just something simple.
It tasted so good and I know a little beef isn't going to
kill me. Even though, surpsisingly enough the one thing
I'm not craving at the moment is meat. My breakfasts and
lunches are usually vegetarian and so are my snacks. Hmmm.
That's different. Every other pregnancy I craved meat.
This time around I can take it or leave it (except for
turkey on Thanksgiving, I wanted that pretty bad). Maybe
this means I'm having a different kind of baby...a boy
maybe? I'm still having mixed emotions about that. I love
little girls, but I'm sure a boy would be nice. Jason
wants a boy. I guess I'll be happy either way. I just
think of how sweet Kiki is and wouldn't mind having
another little girl like her. She's sitting on the couch
under a blanket, eating Fruity Pebbles, watching the
Doodlebops. Every once in awhile she'll bob her head to
the music. She can even say Doodlebops now. So, I think
it's her favorite show. She's just so sweet! Who wouldn't
want to duplicate that?
Rebecca came in to work yesterday. She spent most of her
time in the back office and for the first time EVER, the
entire store wasn't in a tizy because she was here. The
time went by fast and before I knew it, she was gone and
everyone peeled off their blazers and went back to being
real. Speaking of work. I have to be there in an hour, so
I'd better get off of here and get ready to go. Ciao.
