A Story Book Pregnancy

****

I just got home from work. It's almost 10pm, but even
though I don't customarily work these hours (weekends or
evenings and here I am working both), it didn't feel all
that strange, because the mall is a controlled
environment. No windows to see what's going on in the
outside world. It wasn't really very busy at all today. It
was busier than a normal non-holiday day, but not as bad
as last holiday. I think that will be the story this year.
Not as bad as last year. I work tomorrow, too. 11:45am to
6:45pm. I don't like that shift. It's literally right
smack-dab in the middle of the day. So, even if I had
something I wanted to get done, I couldn't. Oh well.

My stomach has been acting up today. Not so much the
nausea. Now it's heart burn. It seems like when one
pregnancy ailment eases, another takes it's place. Twice
I've been woken up by heartburn. Last night and today when
I was taking a nap before work. It's so frustrating. I
hear stories about woman who have easy pregnancies with
minimal discomforts. I want to be one of those woman. Just
this one last time. This is my last baby. Couldn't it be a
story book pregnancy?

I'm tired. I think I want to go to bed now. Snookums went
to the ER to have his toe looked at. It's looking like it
might be getting a little infected, so he's going to get
some antibiotics for it. I'm getting a headache now. Yeah,
I'm really going to bed. Ciao.
