A Monumental Task

****

A Code of Honor: Never approach a friend's girlfriend or
wife with mischief as your goal. There are just too many
women in the world to justify that sort of dishonorable
behavior. Unless she's really attractive.

I thought that quote was kind of cute :) It doesn't apply
to me in any sort of way at all, but I liked it. Isn't
that all that really matters, anyway?

I'm so exhausted. Drop-dead, ready to pass out tired.
Snookums and I went to bed a little after 10pm last night,
but because of all the apprehension, excitement, what-have-
you, we ended up away. Wide awake. At 1:30am. We laid in
bed, talked, made love. Smoked a few cigarettes and tried
to go back to sleep, but it wasn't until almost 4am that
we finally did. Snookums had to be up and out the door by
6am and I had an opening shift (9-5:30), so it was busy
days for both of us.

Snookums got off from work around 11am and came home to
pack some more. He got the laundry room and the girl's
room done. I'm not at all motivated to pack tonight. I'm
too tired from lack so sleep last night and a long day at
work today. Snookie's out getting Subway for dinner. Then,
we're turning in early, so we can get an early start
tomorrow morning. Kiki has therapy, but after that the
rest of the day is devoted to moving. We plan on being
completely moved into the new house this time tomorrow. A
monument task, but we've done it before.

Geek Squad is coming to unhook our computer tomorrow
afternoon and I don't think they're coming to hook it up
at the new place until Saturday, so there will be a few
days of silence. Fear not. I'm sure Saturday night I'll
have plenty to talk about. Or nothing to say out of sheer
exhaustion.

Snookums is home with the food! I haven't had a real meal
today, so I'm looking forward to my sandwich. Ciao!
