My Life Thus Far

Hannah Montana, Moon Board

****

I had a good day :) I had a hard time getting out of bed,
which was the worst part of the day. Getting up late and
trying to play catch-up. At 8am, I had my psychologist
appointment with Dr. Martin. He's an interesting fellow,
but I do like him. Much better than the chick I was seeing
last summer. I also like that I don't have to drive all
the way out to Keyport to see her. Naval Hospital is much
more convenient. Not as convenient as a kiosk in the mall,
but I'll just have to deal :)

I got to work a little after 9am, which was fine with Kim
(the opening manager. She's far more understanding than
Tamara or Jenny. I'll miss her when she steps down). I'd
barely gotten settled in when my time arrived to depart. I
had a 1:30-5:30 on-call, but since it was dead as a
doornail and we had three girls working already, I was
allowed to leave! Yeah! It would have been great if I
could have just came home and relaxed or had coffee with
Gen, but that couldn't happen. Today is Annie's 8th
birthday and I didn't have a single gift for her. So, I
had to scramble and buy her a few things. I got her two
Hannah Montana t-shirts at the Disney store and a Moon
Board. Which is like a pogo stick, except it's shaped like
a skateboard and has two rubber balls as the bouncing
apparatus. You'd have to see it to understand. The rest of
my time went to wrapping and straightening the house,
which is in a sorry state of affairs at the moment. It's
better now, but not by much.

If it seems like I'm rushing through this, it's because I
am. I may be in a good mood, but I'm still tired and I'm
ready for bed. The girls just went to bed about half an
hour ago, so now it's my turn. Ciao.
