My Life Thus Far

ADS, UPT, Credit and Conversion

****

My entire day was encompassed by work. I worked an 8 hour
shift today. 9-5:30 and more than likely I'll do it again
tomorrow. I have a 1:30-5:30 on-call and I'd bet money
they'll use it.

The time flew by, thought. I hardly looked at the clock at
all. I just did my thing. I got 4 credit cards and sold
over 15 bras. Which may not sound like much, but at $50 a
pop they add up. We were supposed to sell 32 for the day,
so I think I did my part. I've found that if we make our
bra and beauty goals (sell the amount we're supposed to),
the ADS (average dollar sale), UPT (units per
transaction), credit(percentage that sign up for the angel
card, which should be over 6%) and conversion (percentage
of people that come in and buy something, usually around
27%) all fall into place and we make our segments. It's
not all about getting people to buy lots of stuff, it's
about getting the bras and perfume out the door. Both of
which range over the $50 mark. I had a customer ask me if
I was the manager today. I said "no" and she said "Well,
you will be soon". I was really happy to hear that. I love
what I do and it feels good to be told I'm good at it by
someone who doesn't have to say that.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I have nothing else to talk
about and Grey's Anatomy is on right now, so I gotta go.
Ciao until tomorrow!
