My Life Thus Far

Recreational Bathing

****

I felt pretty good today. For a change. My hunger didn't
seem to be getting the better of me all day. It seems like
now I just can't get enough to eat. If I'm able to go an
hour without eating something, I consider myself lucky. Oh
well, I guess I should welcome the excuse for eating
whenever the mood strikes me. Although, I am ever-cautious
of what and how much I eat. I don't want to come out of
this pregnancy with 60 pounds to lose, or something
ungodly like that. I only gained about 25 pounds with Kiki
and I intend to do the same this time around.

While Kiki was at therapy, I went to Naval Hospital to
have my lab work done. The usual, 6 big vials of blood and
a urine sample. Tomorrow I have my appointments for the
ultrasound and my lab results. I'm nervous about the
ultrasound. I know I don't need to be, but I am a little
queasy about it. I'll finally know for sure how far along
I am and even though I'm pretty sure they won't be able to
tell me the sex, there is an infinitesimally small chance
they could. Gen is going with me, which is nice of her.
It's at 9am, which is early for me. I hate doing anything
before 10am, but sometimes things don't go my way and I'm
forced to comply.

Work was interesting and actually flew by today. Last
night they did a complete remodel of the floor set. After
the meeting with corporate on Thursday, Tamara decided to
take their suggestions to heart (not that she had much
choice in the matter) and moved everything around. Even
though I was expecting the change, I was still a little
surprised when I took a good look around. Everything has
been moved. I like it though. The store feels bigger, more
spacious and sales were through the roof today. Customers
are having better access to merchandise they couldn't find
before. I think it was a good move.

I bought out Bath and Body Works Tranquil Mint
Aromatherapy products that are supposed to relieve
stress. Of course I did some research on the main
essential oils in it (peppermint and rosemary) and both
are safe to smell in the second trimester, but should only
be eaten in small amounts. I get hungry, but not hungry
enough to eat shampoo, so I think I'm safe. Speaking of
shampoo, I think I'll go indulge myself in some
recreational bathing right now. I'm so tired, all I really
want to do is go to bed, but I think I'll sleep better if
I do a little relaxing first. Ciao until tomorrow.
