I Was Going To Blow You Off

****

I was going to blow you off again tonight, but since I get
to sleep in as late as I want tomorrow morning, I figured
I could devote a little time to diary updating. I might
even do a little housework, since soon after writing last
night I lost my wind and ended up going to sleep after
doing basically nothing. I don't know why I'm having such
a hard time getting this done. Having a perfect house has
always been important to me, but all of a sudden, it just
doesn't seem so important anymore. Who's ever here to
notice? Only Gen and she really doesn't care.

Okay, so lets get on with this. Yesterday was a full day,
but fun. I didn't have to work, so I decided to take a
field trip to the Tacoma Mall. I had a bunch of stuff I
needed to return to VS, but I didn't want to take it back
to my store and ruin anyone's segment, so I decided to
ruin Tacoma's ADS, instead. Too bad I found a bunch of
stuff I wanted and ended up only getting $40 back. It
didn't really matter. I found the cutest little leopard
print cami and panty set in the Intimissimmi section,
which is an Italian sub brand we don't carry in our store.
I also found the cutest sheer cami that will look good
over a basic white undershirt. That's how we get away with
wearing lingerie to work. Over an appropriate top or under
a blazer. It's bending the rules a little, but as long as
a ta-ta isn't hanging out, you're good.

I also did a little damage at Hollister (a $100 sweat suit
and a cute little fuchsia top) and The Pumpkin Patch
(boots for both girls). It was fun. We don't have many of
the stores the Tacoma mall has, so I always enjoy going
there for variety.

Another reason for the trip to Tacoma was to look for a
treadmill or elliptical. I remembered seeing an Exercise
Equipment outlet along I-5 on our way to Ft. Lewis last
month, so Gen and I stopped in there to check out their
selection. I found a little home version, folding model
that would work great in my living room. It's about
$1,200. I filled out an application for a 6 months same as
cash loan, but I haven't heard back from them yet. If I
don't get approved (because of my debt to income ratio, I
have so many credit cards and loans in my name because
Snookum's credit is crap) then I'll just put it on the
American Express. I just paid it off and I don't really
want to, but I want the treadmill more. It's worth it.

Gen had to be to work a little after 2pm, so I had some
time at home before I had to pick the girls up. Since it
was such a lovely day (and on the warm side, too) I
decided to take back my patio. It was a filthy mess. I
never went out there and there was a ton of old toys,
trash, leaves and dirt all over it. So, I spent a couple
hours cleaning it up, planting new plants, putting up bird
feeders and just making it feel nicer. I even bought new
patio chairs and a little table. It's so much nicer now.
I'll spend more time out there once it really warms up.

Now for today: It was okay. Gen came over to help motivate
me to clean. It didn't work so much. Basically, Gen did it
for me and I watched. She's such a good friend. I'd come
give her moral support if she needed me to, but I wouldn't
clean her house for her. I'm too lazy! Actually I might,
it's just my house I hate cleaning. Anyhow, we did that
for awhile, then Gen decided she wanted Olive Garden for
dinner. Since I've been doing horribly with my eating and
not being the best vegan, I obliged. I know I'm going to
live to regret it, just how much I'll regret it is another
story. Hopefully I'll just be a little stopped up.

Now here I sit, writing in my diary, feeling very sleepy
and wondering what I should do. Clean or sleep? That is
the question. Ciao.
