I Love Credit Cards

****

I'm tired. Really tired, but not in a terribly bad kind of
way-like something bad happened. Just in a tired kind of
way. Gen and I slept okay. Both of us kept waking up on
and off, but we didn't have a bad night. No sleep-over
I've ever been to ended with a good night's sleep, so it
was nice (and surprising) that we actually did SLEEP.
Waking up every hour or two is disruptive, though and
that's made me a little tuckered out.

Gen and I still did our Starubucks thing until she had to
get to work. After which, I went to the mall to pick up my
paycheck. It wasn't there yet, so I ended up having an
impromptu shopping trip. I didn't spend much money, I just
got a few odds and ends-a tea infuser shaped like a tiny
teapot, an air tight glass jar for the loose tea Gen
bought me a couple months ago (yes, it's still good. I
keep the bag closed very tightly) and a 3lb bag of pretzel
sticks (did you know you can have 82 of the damn things
for 105 calories)? All thanks to World Market. I love that
store. So, after I got my check, I deposited it in the
bank, picked up the girls and headed to the Family Fitness
Center. I didn't make it to the gym this morning, so I had
to get my workout in sometime. The girls love it there and
Annie even had two other kids to play with. Kiki watched
Finding Nemo and played in the toddler room.

Guess what I got in the mail today? A new credit card! I
love credit cards. They're little plastic reminders that
I've got good credit. My credit is very important to me,
so I try to be responsible with them, but it's very
tempting to apply for every one under the sun. I have to
remember they're not baseball cards. Anyway, it's a
Starbucks Duetto Visa card. I'm not entirely sure how it
works, but the next time I'm in Starbucks I'll ask. I've
already got the Visa part down, it's the Starbucks card
part I'm not understanding.

Okay, that's all for tonight. I'm falling asleep at the
keyboard. Ciao and goodnight.
