My Life Thus Far
Like A Good Girl
****
I had a really good day. Honestly. I can't complain. As
far as days go, this one was pretty darn great. Okay, now
I'm just being cheesy.
I went to the gym, like a good girl this morning. I didn't
kill myself or anything, but I burned a respectable 400
calories and worked up a sweat. I haven't been as
dedicated as I usually am, so I didn't want to get sore
because I threw myself back at my old intensity. I'm
working up to it. It felt good to work out. I forgot how
wonderful (mentally AND physically) I feel after a good
stint in the gym.
Gen and I spent the day together. We shopped. Of course. I
took those boots back and used the money to buy a bunch of
other things. I got some really cool honeysuckle scented
cleaning products at World Market along with a couple
soups (one a dried Provencal white bean soup, another a
vegan butternut squash soup in the resealable paper
cartons). I'm interested in trying some new things. I also
got a really cute pocket calendar and a food diary (yes,
I'm doing that again). The nice thing was, I still have $6
to spare. That always makes you feel good. To save money.
HAWAII, HAWAII, HAWAII! I'm going to keep telling myself
that until I drive everyone around me crazy.
I'm writing kind of late because I've been working on my
veganmyspace profile (not to be confused with the regular
myspace profile I did). I've decided I'm going to use my
veganmyspace account as a sort of fitness blog. I'm going
to write about how I'm doing with my weight loss and
stuff, since this diary is more about my life, thoughts,
dreams, feelings, that sort of thing. I don't want to
devote this diary to diet crap, but I do want a place I
can write about my food intake, how I'm feeling about
working out, that sort of thing. I can't promise I'll
always use it, but I'll see how it goes. If you want to
check it out, I've made it my website. So, you can just
click on that little link down there. Nobody ever went to
the t-mobile website anyway, I don't even go there. It's
been relegated to the grandparents, so they'll stop
hounding me for pictures of the grandbabies.
Well, it's getting late, I still haven't eaten dinner (and
I didn't have lunch, unless a Chai Soy Latte counts) and
I'm tired of being on the computer. Ciao!
