Throbbing Nipples and Myspace

****

All-in-all, it wasn't a bad day. Other than me being on
the verge of a mental, physical, and hormonal breakdown,
I'm good. My nipples are throbbing...Throbbing nipples are
enough to take your mind off of anything good, but I'm
dealing.

So, as I was saying. Today wasn't too bad. Kiki's hearing
evaluation was kind of a good news/bad news type of thing.
According to the audiologist, she has no movement in her
right ear drum. The ear drum is much like a regular drum
and vibrates when sound hits it. Well, her left one
vibrated as expected, but her right one didn't move. The
doctor had a special machine that sent a little wave of
air into her ear and sent back the results. I wasn't
surprised, I guess. The good news portion of the visit,
was the actual hearing test. She performed within the
normal range, but not perfectly. There were sounds I heard
that she didn't. We were put into a sound proof room. The
walls were a foot thick and when you stepped inside the
room, it was so quiet I swear, you could hear your blood
flowing. It was kind of creepy. Anyhow, Kiki sat in my lap
and played with some toys on a table. In front of her were
three speakers with light boxes over them. The doctor
would play sounds through the speakers and if she looked
up in response to the sound, he'd turn on the light box
and she'd get to watch Tigger or Pooh dance. She though it
was amazing! She got most of the sounds, but there were a
few low wooshing and buzzing sounds she missed. I have to
make an appointment for her to see her doctor again to
have the right ear checked out. I also have to make an
appointment for the home evaluation for Holly Ridge. I
can't procrastinate on this. It all has to be done before
the 10th (her meeting with all the evaluators at Holly
Ridge). This stresses me a little, but I'll be okay.

Today was the first day of semi-annual. I expected mass
chaos, but it really wasn't bad. The holidays made today
seem like a tea party. I got 6 cards, which was
respectable, but this chick named Teal got 8, so I feel
defeated. I can't wait until she goes back to South Dakota
(she goes to school there). She's stealing my thunder.
Andrea's even getting whipped by her. Oh well, I'd like to
think I'm more valuable to them than just the amount of
credit card accounts I open.

I had a hard time sleeping last night. I tried and tried
to fall asleep, but it illuded me. So, guess what I did? I
set up a myspace account! Why? I have no clue. I have no
interest in myspace. It was just something to do. It looks
kind of cool. If you want, you can look at it. My name is
Butterscotch and Honey, URL:

www.myspace.com/butterscotchandhoney

I feel a little silly having one, but it's all the rage
right now. I'm sure I'll forget about it in a couple of
weeks. The amazing thing is, I've already got 4 "friends"
and I haven't even looked at anyone else's profile. One of
them is a cute rapper from Atlanta. I'd better watch
myself or I might get in trouble. I didn't tell Snookums
about the myspace thing, but I will when he gets home
tomorrow (duty, of course).

Okay, I'm going to make an effort at getting some sleep
tonight. It's almost 10pm, so I'd better get started on
that. Ciao.
