Have People No Shame?

*****

"Buddha advises, "O bhikshus and wise men, just as a
goldsmith would test his gold by burning, cutting and
rubbing it, so must you examine my words and accept them
buy not merely out of reverence for me."

I love this wisdom. Nowhere in the Bible is there a
passage that suggests it's okay to question God until you
find him to be the creator. It's all or nothing. Either
you believe or you go to Hell. I regret all the years I
allowed myself to be misguided by Christianity. I'm so
Buddhist!

I had an amazing day! Truly! I had a kick-ass workout at
the gym, dropped by Gen's to feed her kitty, stopped in
Starbucks for a latte and some fruit, but the crowning
jewel of my day was work. I spent my first shift on the
salesfloor and it went SO well. I worked the cashwrap (the
register. They call it that because everything gets
giftwrapped in pink tissue and put in a lovely pink bag).
I assisted customers. Did fittings. I even sold a credit
card! Which I was told was difficult, but I did it no
problem. I have a good feeling about VS. I hope nothing
shitty happens to make me hate it and want to quit. I need
to stop doing that. My resume looks like a smorgasbord,
I've done so many different things.

Oh, I got a replacement for my jacked BADGIRL magnet, too.
Now I feel better. I still can't believe how low a person
has to go to take something that isn't theirs. Have people
no shame?

I hate to cut this short, but I'm kind of sleepy and ready
for bed. Ciao
