Lavender Roses

I'm so sleepy. You don't know how glad I'll be to be OVER
these damn side effects. I can't tell if the Celexa is
working yet or not, but I'm discovering new aversions
almost daily. Today, I noticed while getting dressed that
my body is COVERED in bruises, yet I haven't injured
myself. This morning when I got into the car, I bumped my
knee on the steering wheel. It didn't hurt, I just noticed
I'd done it. Well, sure enough a few hours later, my knee
was black and blue. Bruising is one of the side effects,
unfortunately. How long will this last? And how does a
medication that's suppose to affect my brain end up
causing problems in other areas of my body? You'd think
scientist could narrow down the target area of these
drugs.

Snookums did the sweetest thing for me (even 2000 miles
away). He sent me a dozen lavender roses and a teddy bear.
Isn't that sweet? Plenty of woman don't get flowers from
their husbands when they're right in the same house. My
husband is good to me. I'm so grateful to have him in my
life.

I decided not to get my new tattoo (the symbols), not
because I don't want to, but because I have to buy a new
microwave and toaster. It would be irresponsible to spend
$300 on a tattoo when that would pay for the new
microwave. Let me explain why we need a new one in the
first place. Annie wanted to make her own dinner tonight
(Miss Independance). Ramen noodles is what she wanted and
they aren't complicated to make, so I said okay. Well, she
forgot to put water in the bowl and ended up setting the
microwave on fire. Thank God it was contained to the
microwave and didn't damage any surrounding surfaces. I
just had to throw it away. There was no saving it. It
wasn't just a microwave, though. It was also a toaster.
I'm going to miss that. It was cool and something not many
people have seen before. A microwave with a built in
toaster. But, it's okay. I saw a beautiful red enamel
microwave and matching toaster at Target a couple of
months ago. I hope they still have them. I'm going
tomorrow to see.

Other than Annie's little fire drill, I didn't do anything
differently than any other day, so there's nothing more to
say. I'm going to turn in now. I'm starting to develop a
headache and that can only be because I'm tired (or is it
another side effect?) Ciao.
