Packing His Seabag

This evening will be my last with Snookie for the next 3
weeks and I'm not liking the prospect. What choice do I
have? None. So, I'll adjust. I'm writing early tonight, so
that I can maximize the time I'll have with him. He's
packing his seabag right now. I would go keep him company,
only he needs to concentrate or he'll forget something
vital, like underwear or deodorant. I'm not making that
up, it's happened before :)

I pretty much wasted my day. I didn't do too much and it
doesn't matter, because it's my day off and productivity
isn't required on days off. I slept in until about 7am (as
opposed to 5am), got the girls up and off to
school/daycare, went to the gym (did a good workout,
probably my only one this week :( unfortunately), picked
up a few medals for Snookie's uniform (he'll be having
inspections this underway and he'll need to be in top
form), and I went to the Commissary to pick up provisions
for Snookums' care package. Every time he leaves, I go to
the Commissary, spend about $60-$70 on his favorite snacks
and pack them in a nice gift bag with a card. I like to
send him off with his favorite comfort foods, the ones he
can't get out at sea. I think he appreciates it.

Once I got home after running those minor errands, I took
my time having lunch, showering, getting Snookie's care
package packed and watching the daytime televison I
haven't been able to watch since I got a job (therefore, a
life) and just aren't home to catch, or care enough to
tape. Once Snookie got home, we picked up the girls and
went out to dinner.

Puerto Vallarta was Snookie's last meal on land. (There's
3 new pictures at www.t-mobilepictures.com/SnookiesAngels,
by the way.) Mexican food is like TNT to my intestines,
but I hate to complain, especially when I'll have 3 weeks
to get back into my groove and lose some more weight. I'll
be shooting for 5 pounds gone, or 145. I've put on a
couple of pounds from food weight-bloating-dehydration,
etc. I just haven't been doing well at all. I'm bloated
like I'm 6 months pregnant right now and I can hardly
move, the gas pains are so bad. Is there a drug to fix
this? Maybe I'll look into it...

Anyway. My plan while Snookums is gone is already in the
works. I found a website called freedieting.com and it
gave me a calorie scale especially tailored to my goals,
with three levels of calorie counts. Extreme fat loss, Fat
loss and Maintenance. Each day of the week I eat a
different number of calories to trick my body into NEVER
plateauing, since it will never know how many calories to
expect. This is how my calorie cycle looks. I'll eat the
number of calories necessary to meet my goal. Of course,
I'm going to be using the extreme fat loss column. I don't
know if I'll even be able to eat that many calories:

Ex Fat Loss Fat Loss Maintain
Mon 1262 1682 2012
Tue 1040 1346 1682
Wed 1514 2018 2523
Thur 1262 1682 2120
Fri 1136 1514 1892
Sat 1388 1850 2313
Sun 1262 1682 2102

I'm hoping this approach will help me 1) lose weight and
2) learn to eat "normally", but most importantly, help me
see that it is possible to lose weight without starving
myself or taking everything to the extreme. I'm going to
give it a week and if I don't see results, I'm going back
to what I know works. That's all there is to it.
Personally, it seems like way too many calories to me, but
I'm not an expert.

I think this entry is long enough. So, I'll be going for
now. Maybe I should look into writing a novel, length
doesn't seem to be an issue for me :) Ciao!
