A Pink Razr and Coconut Shrimp

Does my-diary's font look smaller to you? It does to me.
My eyesight must not be what it use to be, or something...

Anyways, lets talk about my day, since that's what I'm
here to write about. It was good. I slept well. I fell
asleep around 9:30pm last night. I missed Grey's Anatomy,
but I suppose sleep was more important to my body than a
tv show. This morning I woke up feeling pretty darn good.

At 10am I met with Sherilan to discuss my salary and start
date. $10/hour while training, $12/hour after training,
$1/hour raise each year. Not bad. The average salary in
Kitsap county for an entry-level dental assistant is
$12/hour, so it's good to know there's room for
advancement. It won't make me a millionaire, but I wasn't
out to become a millionaire, so it's all good. I start
next Tuesday, April 4th. So, I get my time with Snookie
and the girls' and I get my career. Not many can have
their cake and eat it, too :)

After my meeting with Sherilan, Snookie and I went to the
mall (our usual hang-out spot these days). Somehow we
ended up in T-Mobile and half an hour later we came out
with matching Motorola V3 Razr phones. Only, mine is a
PINK Razr!!! It looks so cool. I never wanted it, but who
doesn't like a cool cellphone?

Snookie took me out to lunch at Red Lobster today. I had
the captain's platter, which wasn't as bad for me as the
fried platter Snookums had. We shared an order of Captain
Morgan's Parrot Bay rum coconut shrimp (which are my
absolute FAVORITE thing at Red Lobster) and a basket of
the cheddar bay biscuits. It was a nice date, but I'm
going to put more effort into avoiding the indulgences
from now on. Easier said than done.

We DID, however make amends for the decadent lunch by
hitting the gym. I tried to do my usual, but OH MY GOD.
The thin cotton t-shirt I wore felt like sandpaper on my
back. My tattoo is feeling better, but it's still a little
tender. Kind of like a bad sunburn. It's okay if you don't
touch it, but it's hell if you do. It's all worth it,
though. It looks so good! I worked out through the
discomfort, just to clear my conscience.

Tomorrow is going to be a fun day! Snookums and I are
going to Seattle to walk around Pike Place Market. I
haven't been there in over a year, so I'm stoked! Ciao
until tomorrow.
