My Life Thus Far

Happy Chakras :)

Today was a NORMAL day. A day that felt right and in
balance with how I want my days to go. Well, except for
this morning (I had a hard time getting out of bed), but I
managed to still get moving on time. My chakras are happy
and in alignment :)

Work was great. I'm starting to find my place in the
practice and I haven't been down in the basement in weeks
(except to grab something out of storage real quick). No
more shredding for me! Sherilan (the office manager) has
dropped several more hints as to my working status once my
extern is completed. Each good day I have there, brings me
one step closer to accepting a job offer from them should
one be extended. I was even asked my opinion on what color
scrubs we should order, since all the girls are sick of
the powder blue ones we wear now. That really made me feel
like part of the "family". So, it was a good day.

My gym-time was wonderful! It felt so GREAT to be back on
my favorite elliptical, pedaling away. It felt even better
kicking the treadmill up to 6.0 mph and running a quick 2
miles. Running is so liberating and now that I don't
jiggle like jell-o all over, I can actually do it
comfortably (well, my 36 DD's still jiggle, but there's
nothing I can do about that :( I wonder if the Navy covers
breast reduction? I'll look into that). Snookums met me at
the gym once he got off from work. The ship is on "Stennis
hours" which basically means he gets off at 1300 (1pm)
everyday the ship is in port. Not too bad a set-up if you
ask me. We both get off at 1pm. Anyway, he actually did a
half-way decent workout himself. Not with as much
intensity as I put forth, but just getting him into the
gym is a feat unto itself.

After our workout, we did some quick grocery shopping and
I picked the girls up from daycare. We just had a quick
dinner, chicken fajitas on whole grain tortillas (so
yummy) now it's time to put the girls' down to bed. So,
I'd better sign off. Ciao!
