My Life Thus Far
Getting Somewhat Back To Normal
Getting back into the swing of things is tiring to say the
least. Last night I passed out around 9pm, which is
unheard of for me. Snookums stayed up longer watching
football, but I just couldn't keep my eyes open. All
through our vacation we stayed up late (11pm and later)
and got up early (5am at times), so I'm making up for lost
sleep. I must admit, jogging on the beach was so much fun!
It was worth getting up an hour before the crack of dawn
to do it. I so wish I had a white, sandy beach to run
down. Try running down a beach in Puget Sound and you'll
twist an ankle on rocks, shells and garbage or slip on
seaweed.
Things are getting somewhat back to normal. I've got 1
more load of laundry to do before all of our vacation
washing is done. Annie finished all of her make-up work
and finished a little journal about her trip, which
includes a little picture gallery of her flying a kite,
building a sand castle and playing in the waves. I also
threw in a few gorgeous landscape pictures I'm sure her
teacher will enjoy. The beach at sunset is breathtaking.
My body is getting back to normal, too. I've dropped 3
pounds since yesterday morning, which proves my point that
it couldn't have been weight gain. We're totally back to
healthy eating and I'm getting my water down. I'm not too
concerned about it, since my size 12 jeans still fit
beautifully. I'm on my way out for some exercise all the
same, a little walk/jog. I'm feeling a bit puffy, mostly
because I haven't been working out like my body's
accustomed to. I'm far from my 150 goal but I WILL be
there by the time I see my in-laws again. Maybe smaller.
As I get smaller, my goal gets lower, only because I feel
like I can attain it. At some point I'll decide enough's
enough. I just don't know where on the scale that point
will be. Ciao for now.
