I'm Back On Track

After spending a week in the pit of weight-loss hell, I've
risen back up into the land of the living. I'm back on
track. Last week I sabotaged myself left and right. I ate
ice cream, cookies, pizza and I did minimal exercise. I
only lost 1 single, solitary pound all week. But at this
point, I'm grateful I didn't gain a pound. Today I pulled
myself up by the shoe strings and took my happy ass out
for a walk. When I got home, I'd opened the exercise flood
gates. I ended up doing the whole routine. Step Aerobics,
Pilates, the exercise ball. Everything. I ate very well
today: grits and a fruit cup for breakfast, a Smart One's
spinach ravioli meal (only 250 calories, but oh, so
delicious) and a good dinner. Grilled chicken with salsa,
1 steamed red potato and a cup of sauteed summer squash
and zuccinni. It was so filling, but I saved room for some
mango sorbet, because it's only 120 calories and I was SO
good today! I'm glad I had the kind of day that leads into
a pattern of good days. Tomorrow I'll write about how
wonderful I'm feeling as well, because I'm back on track!!!
