Manual Labor and A New Tattoo

I've come to sing the praises of manual labor! This
morning I was ready to murder the mailman, but through the
rehabilitative effects of hard work, I'm feeling 150%
better. I woke up this morning in one of those bi-
polarescent moods; extreme anger, extreme sadness, now
extreme happiness. Could I REALLY be bi-polar :o Anyway, I
set about completing this mammoth TO DO list and somehow
the very act of scrubbing and polishing and folding
(laundry) channeled my mind and mellowed my mood. By the
time Snookums got home, my entire list was done, I was in
a cheery mood and I'd even found time to clean myself up,
do my hair, throw on some makeup and be genuinely glad to
see him. Minus the tears and drama.

We went to pick Annie up from daycare, then we went out
for a nice family dinner at Applebee's. I'm proud to
announce that I ate out and still remained well within my
allotted calorie allowance, 50 calories under, in fact. I
had teriyaki glazed shrimp and steak skewers with steamed
vegetables and rice pilaf. It was fab and only 370
calories, including a side of teriyaki dipping sauce that
I only ate half of, so less than 370 calories (but not by
much). Thank heaven for the Weight Watcher's menu.

So, your probably wondering about this new tattoo I
mentioned in the title? Let me explain: I guess it isn't a
new tattoo, only a revision of an existing tattoo. On our
way home from Applebee's we were about to pass a tattoo
parlor that I've been meaning to stop into, only I always
have at least one child with me and no children are
allowed in. So, I seized the moment and told Snookums to
pull over. I have a tattoo of 2 butterflies on my left
breast/chest area. The parlor I got it at closed last
month and I needed to have it touched up a bit. Mostly the
outline and some of the shading. I went in, talked to the
proprietor and he new exactly what I wanted. Instead of
waiting until some other day, I decided today was just as
good a day as any. So, we came home, put the girls to bed.
I stopped at the ATM and withdrew $60 and now I'm sitting
here with 2 very lovely, newly colored and outlined
butterflies. I'm SOOO pleased with how they came out!

I must go. I told Snookums I'd only be 4 more minutes and
it's been 7, so I'm going to logout before he notices :)
Ciao!
