Gourmet Breakfast

I've just finished giving Snookums a lesson on how to
prepare and feed Kiki her gourmet breakfast. 1 tablespoon
rice cereal, 1 tablespoon Gerber baby applesauce, mixed
with a splash of breastmilk to make it creamy. He thought
it was thouroughly disgusting. I gently reminded him that
his mother fed him goat's milk as a baby and if he thought
breastmilk, applesauce and cereal were disgusting, how
gross is goat's milk? He got quiet and I knew I'd won that
battle. Kiki wasn't fond of the texture of the applesauce,
but she liked the cereal, so I just combined them and she
loves it. She eats it 3 times a day, then has her 8 oz or
so of breastmilk, 5 times a day. She's on a perfect
schedule that works out for everyone.

I didn't write last night, because I didn't really feel
like it. I've decided to only write when I want to, not
because I feel obligated. This is my personal place and if
I don't want to write, I don't have to. But, I've been
over this before, so I won't be redundant.

Anyway, my day was good on the whole. Snookums surprised
me and came home from work around noon. We went to the
post office to mail my student loan (I forgot to mail it
when I went for my walk. I remembered all the other bills.
Car payment, both home and cell phone bills, and rent. But
no student loan). I was kind of irritated that I'd
forgotten it, but I'm over it now. Then we went to Wal-
mart to get Kiki more diapers. We usually get her diapers
at the Commisarry, since they usually run $1 cheaper on
Huggies, but since we're eating less, I haven't needed to
go grocery shopping nearly as much, so we stayed close to
home and just went to Wal-mart. It turned out to be a good
think. They had the mega-pack on sale for $20.76 for 104
diapers, which is better than $10 for 48 any way you look
at it. It's the same size I use to get at Costco for $30
for 104. Costco isn't always the better deal. People just
don't shop around, because they think it's the better deal.

After diaper shopping, we picked Annie up, came home and
the evening proceeded as usual. My back was starting to
act up, so I did my pilates and since I had the table
moved and my mat out, I decided to do the ab workout on
the exercise ball. So, I snuck in a bit more exercise and
woke up feeling better for it. I didn't lose any
measurable weight this morning. I went from 191.6 to
191.2, so it doesn't count, since I don't count right of
the decimal. All in all, things are going well. I think
I'll sneak off, now for a walk on my own. I only get those
on weekends. I'm going to miss them when Snookums goes out
to see :( Ciao for now.
