192, Unprotected Encounters and A Good Book

Good Morning. It truly is a good morning. I woke up
feeling well rested and ready to start the day. I got
almost 9 hours of sleep! It's almost 8:30am and Kallista
isn't awake yet. She's sleeping longer and longer at night
now. She's almost up to 12 hours. Annie didn't start
sleeping 12 hours at a time until she was about 3. She
always slept at least 8, but never really more than that.
Kallista definitely takes after her daddy. Snookums can
sleep for 12 hours, no problem. Then take a nap 2 hours
after getting up! I don't know how they do it.

I weighed myself this morning and I'm down to 192. It
almost doesn't seem real writing it. Only a month ago I
was a whopping 220. Now I'm almost 30 pounds lighter. How
did this happen? I'm having to beat Snookums off me with a
stick. He wants sex all the time, now. Our sexlife has
never had problems (not counting the last few weeks of my
pregnancy)so, I was surprised to notice an increase in
frequency, intensity, duration and locations. He's an
animal! I figured it's because he's been watching me do
Pilates and is intrigued by my newly regained flexibility.
We did have about 3 days worth of unprotected encounters
(my shot wore off and he wasn't using a condom)so, I've
got some doubt floating around in the back of my mind (and
so does he) but, I know statistically, it's highly
unlikely I'll get pregant again. God, how awful would that
be? 2 babies 14 months apart? I'm so not ready for that.
Only time will tell, though. I have no idea when to expect
my period, so I'll wait for either bleeding or symptoms.
Hopefully the first.

Today is a yucky, sit on the couch and read day. It's
cold, cloudy and rainy. I'm so looking forward to
finishing my book. I'm totally engrossed in it. This week
is READ BANNED BOOKS WEEK at the library. They have a list
of the top 100 most banned books in America taped to the
counter. I think I'll get a list off their website and
start a project. I'm shocked by the number of banned books
I've read already, mostly in high school and college,
required reading, even! I think my project will be to read
all 100. I don't know when I'll start or even if I'll get
around to all of them (some of the titles aren't my cup of
tea. Like, The Joys of Gay Sex). I don't think books
should be banned, ever. But, not all of them are meant for
me. Ciao until later!
