Blisters Are Taking Over

As much complaining as I did this morning, I'm sure you'd
expect my day to have been crappy, but it ended up being a
fairly good day. I made vegetable omelets and whole grain
toast for breakfast and went for a nice long walk
afterwards. There was a nice, cool breeze coming off of
the water, which made me want to walk even further. I
would have if it wasn't for the blisters on my feet. My
poor feet are going on strike. The blisters are in the
most uncomfortable and strangest spot. On the balls of my
feet, almost between my big toes and second toes. The left
foot isn't as bad as the right, but they are both
bothersome. They are getting ugly. I won't go into detail.
I'm thinking it might have something to do with my shoes.
I've got Nike crosstrainers, but I might have to get some
actual walking shoes, with a bit more cushioning. I hope
they come in cool colors. My Nikes are pink and silver.
Snookums bought them for me when I was 8 months pregnant
with Kiki, because my feet were swollen like balloons and
the only thing I could fit into were tennis shoes. They
almost have sentimental value. I just came back from my
second walk, which also was lovely with the ocean breeze
blowing and the sun setting behind the mountains. I love
living on the water. There is something wonderful about
living where the forest meets the sea. Anyways, my feet
are screaming now. I don't want to miss any workouts, but
it seems that each workout makes my blisters even worse. I
tried those cushions for blisters, but they just peeled
right off and the pain started again. I'm going to go take
a hot bath and relax my poor, aching dogs and hope all is
well in the morning. This entry is kind of all over the
place, but how interesting can you actually make blisters
sound?
