Waldo I haven't updated this blog in quite some time...been way too busy, or the times that I have thought about updating, my general response is "eh, I'll do it later." Ok, so what did everyone miss? Well, I've been in an extremely good mood lately. No special reason...just feeling pretty content. Work is a tad hectic without having a managing editor at the moment, but in a strange way, I've been thriving off the "added pressure," and doing remarlably well with it. I'm back to being right on track with work, which is really good--especially considering how late-last year and early this year were very burdensome. Ok, so what else? Umm...baseball season is back in action and my Mets are doing well again! I got my tax return and was finally able to get some things done, some things I wanted for myself (like an Xbox 360) and put some real money away for the wedding! The yards are faring better (the front yard actually looks great), and Adam (Scott and Joanna's kid) is coming over every other Sunday to mow for me! Got to see Dawn recently, which was really good, though other circumstances surrounding the visit were a little more frightening (more on that in a sec). Physically, I've been feeling better (except for having constant insomnia), but I still haven't started excercising like I've wanted to (the Xbox doesn't help with that). All in all, things are pretty good! Ok, so bad news? Not a lot really, except that when I was down in San Diego recently (when I saw Dawn), I witnessed--and became involved with--a multiple stabbing/attempted murder at the motel I was staying in. It happened in the room next to mine and spilled outside in front of my room. Since I'm a witness (who had to ID the suspect) and may still have to go back to S.D. to testify, I can't give many details, but let's just suffice to say it was brutal (blood everywhere).
